THIS IS NOT A SCIENTIFIC STUDY!
Against all international law, half of the infants in the study will be given placebos instead of the life-saving vaccine — dooming many to a life of chronic illness in a country without a significant healthcare system.
In Guinea-Bissau, where 15% of adults are already infected with Hepatitis B, this constitutes a gross violation of human rights by the WHO standards.

PETITION TO CONGRESS TO STOP RFK’S GUINEA-BISSAU STUDY
Dear Members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives:
We, the undersigned, call on Congress to take immediate action to halt RFK Jr’s malicious and harmful study, which will intentionally withhold life-saving Hepatitis B vaccine from thousands of newborns in Guinea-Bissau.
By utilizing American taxpayer dollars to pursue alternative theories for well-established science, RFK Jr. is unnecessarily exploiting the lives of children, perpetuating the risk they already face to pursue his agenda, instead of utilizing the funding to help children abroad with robustly safe vaccines.
For newborns in Guinea-Bissau, the danger is imminent, and easily avoidable. Neither children’s health nor public confidence should be collateral damage in a pursuit of Kennedy’s anti-vaccine agenda.
When RFK Jr. attempted to implement an earlier version of this same unscientific “study” in 2025, Stand Up for Science sent an investigator to Guinea-Bissau. When we met with members of Congress in early 2026 to share the findings of their report, those members of Congress pressured RFK to withdraw the study. This revised study’s design and intent is as deadly as the first.
THEREFORE, WE, THE SIGNATORIES OF THIS PETITION, DEMAND THAT YOU, OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS, MOVE WITH DUE HASTE TO IMMEDIATELY STOP THE CDC’S PLANNED EXPERIMENTATION WITH THE HEALTH AND LIVES OF GUINEA-BISSAUAN CHILDREN, AND DEMAND RFK JR’S STUDY BE STOPPED.
