RFK Jr is a menace to public health. He is destroying our public health institutions, dismantling our biomedical research, eroding public trust, and endangering the lives and wellbeing of Americans.

On January 29th, 2026, 687 Members of the National Academy of Medicine, the National Academy of Sciences, and the National Academy of Engineering joined Stand Up for Science in solidarity, calling for RFK Jr. to be removed. Below is their letter.
We, the undersigned Members of the National Academy of Medicine, the National Academy of Sciences, and the National Academy of Engineering, writing in our private capacities, endorse the Articles of Impeachment introduced in the House of Representatives on Dec 10, 2025 by Representative Haley Stevens.
As she has stated: “Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has turned his back on science, on public health, and on the American people – spreading conspiracies and lies, driving up costs, and putting lives at risk.”
He has done this by (e.g.) cutting funding for lifesaving research, withholding funds for previously approved biomedical research, restricting access to vaccines, removing experts from the CDC’s advisory panels, misrepresenting scientific findings, approving the use of chemotherapy drugs to treat autism without FDA due process regarding risks to children’s health, and endangering pregnant women by raising unnecessary alarms about Tylenol, all without established evidence.
We urge our lawmakers to sign the discharge petition, so that this matter can be voted on in Congress.

RFK Jr’s anti-science overhaul of our public health system is killing us and endangering our families. Kennedy is at the height of his power. He is not going to resign and calling for resignation is a toothless strategy. Organizations have been calling for his resignation for months, and he has not resigned. If we want to protect the public and intervene in the dismantling of American science, we must fast track his removal. Every day that passes, matters. By documenting the harms to the public through articles of impeachment we send a message to the Trump Administration and the public that enough is enough.
Impeachment is the morally correct action for anyone who cares about the health of the public, and because he’s a cabinet member, We The People didn’t get to vote for him…this is our most straightforward path to having a say and holding Congress accountable for his harmful actions.

Great question. We are sensitive to the environmental impact of this action. We are working with several groups to repurpose ducks to use for this campaign, we will recycle ducks to Dems, and we are planning more actions with these! Rest assured, we are getting creative.
